Applied 100+ jobs but No Response, Here is why?

While looking for a job, we apply for every role according to our qualification, skills and experience. But unfortunately, we don’t get any response from the recruiters. Even after applying for hundreds of jobs, we hardly get one or two responses from the recruiters. So, I decided to find out the reason behind it. When I started digging deeper, I found out some very shocking things. Here are the things I found in my research:

Your Resume is Your Advertisement

First of all, your resume plays a very important role in getting a job. Whether it is an on-site job or a remote job. Let’s understand this a little deeper. Your resume is an advertisement of your skills, qualifications, and experience to the recruiters. Now, a well-crafted resume increases your chances of getting a response from the recruiter.

So, here is the tough pill to swallow, most recruiters use AI to filter or shortlist the resumes. Because recruiters receive thousands of resumes every day. And looking through each resume is a time-consuming task. So, AI handles this task.

The worst part about this filteration is that most of the highly skilled candidates get left behind due to some shortcomings in their resume. On the other hand, a highly crafted resume passes the filter and gets shortlisted for an interview call.

Not Every Call from Recruiter is not from Recruiter

When I came to know about this, I was totally shocked. Let me explain you, suppose a recruiter posts a job somewhere on social media. Now on most social media, other users or applicants can comment.

Now once the applicant comments. Then the scammer reaches out to the applicant through messages, comments or any other way. After that, the scammer claims that he is a recruiter who has posted this job and wants some information from the applicant.

And then applicant share the information with the scammer to get the job. After that, the scammer asks the applicant to send some money or crypto to get the job or join a group on Telegram or anywhere else.

In this whole process, the applicant gets cheated. Sometimes financially, sometimes mentally. So it is very important to protect yourself from such scammers. So we are going to have a blog on how you can protect yourself from such scammers.

Delay in Apply

The first time I came to know about this, I was thinking how stupid I am. Because I used to apply for everything without even checking the job. So here it is, whenever you see a job post anywhere. Just look at the date when the job was posted. Applying early increases the chances of getting shortlisted for the interview. Because while searching for a job, every hour counts. And if you delay applying then the chances of getting a call from the recruiter decreases.

Conclusion

In this blog, I have shared the information that I found out in this research. During this research, I talked to many recruiters and many people who have been working from home for years. And some have also shared their experiences. I hope this information will prove very useful for you. In future also, I will share some such blogs so that you can easily get work from home and remote job as soon as possible. And also do tell me on which other topics I should write blogs in future so that you get help.
